Manav Subodh, Co-founder A Million for a Billion (1M1B) and Global Manager, Corporate Affairs group at INTEL, is playing a pivotal role in creating employabilityinitiatives, accelerating innovation and facilitating start ups in over 30 countries. Working with Intel CEO's office, Manav lead mentoring and incubation at Intel's first Make it Wearable initiative, one of the largest corporate innovation, product design and lean product accelerator for makers and innovators to launch their next generation of wearable products into the market. Manav is passionate about empowering people to activate their ideas and get them to market, a topic on which he also gave a talk at TED at Intel. In this regard, he has conducted innovation workshops in Costa Rica, Egypt, India, Ireland, Jordan and US. To accelerate youth entrepreneurship globally, he led the team that created The Power of E animated video, which has now been seen and translated worldwide. He also serves on the Advisory Board for UC Berkeley’s Global Social Venture Competition, which draws aspiring entrepreneurs from five continents. Under his leadership Intel became the first large corporation to support the Lean startup framework. Manav has been with Intel since 2005, doing various roles in corporate and government affairs. He was also the technical adviser (TA) to the Intel India President. Prior to Intel, Manav has worked in product marketing, advertising and business development for other organizations like Hughes, a leader in satellite communication and QAI, a software consulting firm. Manav Subodh is now setting up 1M1B, a global initiative to empower a million people to create jobs and enterprises for a billion people ( www.activate1M1B.org ). With this context he is launching Changeships, a first of its kind immersive and change the world internship program for youth. He is an MBA from Amity Business School, India and an engineering graduate from University of Mumbai, India.
