Luis Bruno is a tenured Professor of Architecture and Urban Project at the
University of Buenos Aires and was Dean of his Faculty of Architecture, Design
and Urbanism between 2014 and 2018. Between 2014 and 2016 he was president of
the Council of Deans of National Architecture Faculties. He was a member of the
Professional Council of Architecture and Urbanism between 2000 and 2004 and is
a member of the Jury Board of the Central Society of Architects since 2009.
Currently, he is a member of the Advisory Council of the Ministry of Urban
Development of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and the author of the
winning project of the Civic Park International Competition of the Autonomous
City of Buenos Aires that took place between 2008 and 2011. The project won
numerous awards in architectural competitions and urban initiatives. He is also
a full partner of the POINT firm, with offices in Buenos Aires and New York,
specialist in design projects of different scales for clients such as Telefé,
SAP, YPF, Musimundo, RGA, Banco Santander, ICBC, Cencosud, Ripley, BNB,
Shoemart, Chinabank, among others. For more than a decade, he has been
insisting on different areas through his projects, writings and conferences,
with the need to multiply disciplinary exchanges and approaches to cities and
reflect on their potential and threats, considering them "an convenient
collective act ".
