Johana Bahamón in an actress, entrepreneur and social activist. An advocate of the rights of the prison population, she is the founder and CEO of Fundación Acción Interna, which has worked with 30,000 inmates in 24 prisons. In 2014, Colombia’s Ministry of Justice and Law named Johana goodwill ambassador to promote the humanization and reintegration of the penitentiary system. She has designed innovative spaces to promote the reconciliation between civilians and the prison population, such as the first TEDx to be held in a Latin American prison, the National Festival of Prison Theater, and Interno Restaurant, the first restaurant inside a women’s prison to be open to the public.
