Fermín is the Executive Director of Cántaro Azul, an organization based in Mexico that develops and brings to scale safe water solutions, ranging from a collaboration-based water service in indigenous regions to a social franchise that empowers women entrepreneurs to establish a business delivering water at a fair price in their communities. Fermín is an Ashoka fellow and a member of the Tecnologico de Monterrey’s Public Entrepreneurs Society. Fermin has a PhD from UC Berkeley and his work has been recognized by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Big Ideas Competition at Berkeley.
