Brayan Salazar is originally from Choluteca, Honduras and even though he has not obtained a university degree yet, his inventiveness drove him to create a product based on wind energy to charge mobile phones in areas with no access to electricity. MIT Technology Review selected this project making Bryan one of the best social innovators in Central America and later on awarding him as the innovator of the year. Currently Brayan is pursuing his degree in Engineering and Computer Systems.
