Co-Founder and Creative Director of Machina, a wearable technology company that creates clothes which extend the functionality of the human body. Created his first company by the age of 17 designing Mexican luchador masks with English football team logos during Germany’s World Cup to be sold outside stadiums. Back to Mexico he studied fashion design where he introduces many fashion collections to big institutions and companies like FIT New York, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Plastique Magazine UK, HYÉRES International Festival France among others.
Under Antonio’s direction, Machina’s MIDI Controller Jacket was named “The most beautiful wearable tech” by Wired magazine.
Currently, Antonio is developing OBE (Out of Body Experience) the first gaming jacket to provide immersive physical feedback: mesh body vibration, biometrics, audio, temperature and haptic game controls. Allowing users to immerse themselves into a virtual environment and become more emotionally involved via the interaction between the gamer biometrics and the game adaptiveness.Additionally it captures the user's body movements translating them into 3D information, which can be used by different applications video games, medical, apps, sports, among others.
