Brien is a product manager for MasterCard, where he is responsible for developer engagement, API product commercialization, and platform enhancements. Previously, he was part of the strategic alliances group at MasterCard where he sought, evaluated, and executed various strategic partnership and investment opportunities for the company’s emerging payments division. Prior to MasterCard, Brien worked for Apple in education sales, founded an HR SaaS company that was acquired, and consulted for a university technology incubator working on nano-particle production. In his free time, Brien is a global facilitator and organizer for Startup Weekend and serves on his city’s legislative board, in addition to mentoring entrepreneurs around the world.
