Samira Almeida discovered her passion for reading at a young age, and this influenced her to work in media companies in Brazil, and become an educator and researcher in this field. Since she co-founded StoryMax in 2014, she has been collecting awards and conquered thousands of readers all over the world. StoryMax engages children with digital reading by publishing the best universal classic books as apps complete with original texts, animation, sound effects, updated content about the main themes and interaction. Present in schools in Brazil and in the US, StoryMax also has independent readers in other 42 countries around the world.
