Raquel Cavalcante is Founding Partner of Educar 3.0, a startup that develops game-based learning strategies for students in elementary school. Her role is focused on game development, instructional design, design thinking and teacher training programs. She has a diversified professional trajectory in UX, graphic and instructional design for training programs and corporate events. Raquel holds a Master's degree in Communication Sciences by University of São Paulo (USP), a graduate degree in Interaction Design at Impacta Technology College (FIT), a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences at the University of São Paulo (USP), and a technician’s license in Graphic Design by the Panamerican School of Art and Design. Educar 3.0 develops game-based learning strategies for students in elementary school. Its main solution is EduCash, a web-based game that develops financial literacy skills associated with curricular contents, such as Maths, Languages and Science. With a set of different episodes lived by Eddie, a little astronaut pig, the game makes metaphors to access behavioral economics principles for allowing pupils to get the fundamentals on dealing with money as an exchange value.
