Lina Aramburo is an Industrial Engineer and a Magna Cum Laude business graduate by the Icesi University in Cali, Colombia. In 2013 she did an internship in Refratechnik Ibérica in Barcelona and then went back to Colombia to work at Tecnoquímicas, where she worked in financial administration and production. One year ago she decided to quit her job to realize her dream of crafting her own business with her brother and her family. Today she is co-founder of ECOBOT and she works hard every day to make this dream a reality that positively impacts society and the environment. ECOBOT “An invitation to recycle” is a project that seeks to foster the culture of recycling, incentivizing people to contribute to environmental care by correctly disposing of their PET bottles. The Ecobots are Reverse Vending Machines located in malls, institutions and public spaces that invite people to recycle by giving out discount coupons offered by Ecopartners (associated businesses) in return for each PET bottle that is inserted.
