José Miguel started as an entrepreneur when he was about 16 years old with various projects that proved to be great learning experiences. Later, as a student of Computer Science at the Santa María Technical University, in Valparaíso, Chile, he wanted to mix his career with his passion: music. Sazoot was born in 2014 as a result of the marriage between tech and music. Today, José and Francisco Fullenkamp, co-founder of Sazoot, have made their company the biggest streaming service for Chilean and Latin American independent music. It hosts 10.000 songs from 1200 bands with a special focus on emerging artists.
