Abel grew up in the city of Medellín, Colombia. He went to college at the National Learning Service (SENA) where he obtained a degree in Environmental Studies and Automotive Mechanics. Becoming aware of the human need during his first months there, he decided to present a project to one of his professors, which after only one year would become an atmospheric water collection device. WATER PACIFIC has improved existing technologies for hydric development with its Atmospheric Water Collector, using eco-friendly technologies with an innovative system that doesn’t contaminate the ozone layer or the environment, guaranteeing a safe water supply to solve the problem of access to water in distant communities. The innovation had a great impact in his community, and he won an award to implement it in the region. The project is currently being developedin parthershipwith the Government of Antioquia to foster the development of the most vulnerable populations, using Water Pacific. https://www.facebook.com/Waterpacific
