Linda is the Co - Founder and CEO of Machina, a wearable technology company that creates clothes that extend the functionality of the human body. Linda has been named one of Forbes Mexico’s 30 promises under 30, featured as one of Intel’s MakeHers, Google’s Women Tech Makers, and has given talks at the Women 2.0 events in San Francisco, Explorers Festival Lisbon, Wired London, Smart Content Conference Seoul, among others. Machina has been featured in the Washington Post, BBC, CNN, Vice, Hypebeast, and more. Linda and her team are taking the industry to the next level with the idea of open source in wearable tech. Machina is a brand that designs smart clothing to enhance human capabilities. The company is founded on the belief that smart clothing will enhance our lives rather than disrupt, disconnect, and distract us by being functional, intuitive and aesthetic. MACHINA creates wearable machines by seamlessly integrating fashion and technology. Machina’s new groundbreaking modular technology “OBE” (Out of Body Experience), will be the first defacto platform that users can wear to interact with different use applications from sports, Virtual Reality, IoT, and health all through clothing. With patents approved in Mexico and the U.S., Machina is on the final R&D stage to use IoT to monitor health patients and high performance athletes.
