Julio grew up in a city in the interior of São Paulo, the city of São José dos Campos, he graduated in Mechatronics Engineering and Masters in Mechanical Engineering. His city is a reference in Brazil in aeronautical technology, as well as other sectors of technology present in the Technological Centers. This environment of innovation aroused his interest in the development of technology, aimed at people with disabilities, where, after years of academic research, he created the Livre company together with his brother Lucio.
Livre seeks to offer the wheelchair user a new Lifestyle through the development of equipment that expands Mobility and rescues self-confidence, self-esteem and provides freedom. Livre’s unique design transforms a simple wheelchair into an electric tricycle with an exclusive style, making it easy to walk on damaged sidewalks, using stairs, navigating sandy terrain and grass, and feeling much more active and interactive.
