Verónica Zavala is currently the representative of the Inter-American Development Bank and the Inter-American Investment Corporation in Mexico.During her career at the IDB she has been Grupo Andino’s Country Department Manager, IDB Strategic Planning Manager and Executive Director for Peru. She has also been Sector Manager at the World Bank in the Public Sector for Latin America.Prior to her career in multilateral organizations, she was Minister of Transport and Communications in Peru, Secretary of Public Management of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of Peru, among other positions related to government and the promotion of private investments.She is an Attorney, graduated at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University.
