Ulises Valencia is a digital creative entrepreneur and co-founder of Group W, Mexico’s most prestigious digital shop. In 2009, he created and directed Digital Invaders, Latin America’s first creative digital school. Its main objective was professionalizing creativity and building an improved interactive industry. The school’s almost 500 graduated students are from 17 different countries and work in industries such as video games, advertising, branding, design, startups and digital filmmaking, among others. Ulises has represented his country in multiple festivals around the world, such as Cannes, Clio, London and NY Festivals, Art Directors and One Show. He was named Mexico’s Digital Entrepreneur of the Year by the British Council and he is a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Science. Recently, the Invader Institute launched the first Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Technology, with the objective of preparing new generations for the digital revolution with a strong mindset: building an intellectual property culture.
