Grace Ramirez is a Miami-born chef raised in Venezuela. A former Masterchef USA contestant, she is a judge on one of New Zealand’s highest-rated shows: My Kitchen Rules, and a host of Food Network LATAM: Destino con Sabor, currently airing throughout Latin America. Grace’s culinary inspiration is from a melting pot of Latin American cuisines. Her new award-winning cookbook, La Latina, is a personal guide through the essential dishes of Latin America, making them accessible to anyone. Prior to becoming a chef, Grace worked for several TV networks, including Nickelodeon, MTV and the Food Network. She abandoned her career to participate in Masterchef USA, and later won a scholarship to the French Culinary Institute in New York City, becoming a professional chef.
