Amor studied Law at the UNAM and at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts. A two-time fellow at the FONCA Young Creative Program and also recognized in the Multimedia Production Center, Program for Production and Research 2010. She is currently a member of the National System of Art Creators. She has been a resident of the 2014 program of Nordic Artists' Center Dale (Norway), in 2015 at Kultur Kontakt (Vienna) and in 2017 at the Bauhaus Dessau (Germany). Her work has been exhibited in various museums, galleries and festivals, such as: 21 Haus, Belvedere (Vienna); SFMOMA (San Francisco, California); Laboratory Alameda Art (Mexico City); National Center for the Arts in Tokyo (Japan); Jonathan LeVine Gallery (New York); Ars Electronica Festival (Linz, Austria); Electronika Festival 2011 at the Palácio das Artes in Belo Horizonte (Brazil); MUCA ROMA (Mexico City); MUSAC Museum of Contemporary Art of Castilla y León (Spain); Festival TRANSITIO MX_04, among others.In 2012 she received an Honorable Mention in the category of Hybrid Art in the ARS ELECTRONICA Awards and in 2013 she received the New Face Award of the Japan Media Arts Festival. Her work has been published in the New York Times and awarded in the event Minds Quo + Discovery 2013.
